ENG / Defined-scope engineering

Engineering Design & Consulting

Engineering and technical consulting for studies, new plants, expansions, retrofits and operating-plant decisions—defined around the decision the project needs to make.

01 / Client situation

Client situation

Use this route when the project needs a defensible design basis, a clearer system boundary, an independent technical review or an engineering package before procurement or modification proceeds.

02 / Scope & boundaries

Scope & boundaries

EDGE ONE accepts a defined engineering scope and states the assumptions, exclusions, battery limits, review points and interfaces before work begins. The responsibility level is agreed project by project.

03 / Required inputs

Required inputs

  1. 01Process conditions, production objectives and operating constraints
  2. 02Available drawings, equipment data and previous studies
  3. 03Owner standards, site requirements and decision timeline
  4. 04Known interface, access, shutdown or constructability constraints

04 / Engineering deliverables

Engineering deliverables

  1. 01Design criteria and engineering basis
  2. 02System definition, scope and battery limits
  3. 03Technical specifications and equipment duty definition
  4. 04Interface registers, review memoranda and decision records
05

Interfaces managed

Process, mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, installation and operating interfaces are addressed only to the depth required by the agreed scope—and are not silently transferred to another party.

06

Verification & acceptance

The verification route may include calculations, design reviews, document hold points, technical queries, acceptance criteria and independent checks appropriate to the assignment.

07

Lifecycle continuity

The design basis, assumptions and decision record are retained so that future procurement, modification, troubleshooting and upgrade work can start from controlled information.

Public evidence status

Evidence is published only when the record is ready.
